HEBREWS  3

12 Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart] that turns away from the living God. 13 But continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication].

CHANGE

This website was created for the purpose of encouragement and understanding, sharing information with believers and non-believers alike.

Most of us face hardships in our life, especially in recent Covid crisis and other major unforeseen things.

You can either wither away and allow yourself to be overcome by your struggles and forget about God, OR you can draw nearer to GOD and trust in Him to help you through the struggles. The choice is yours. God is always there opening His loving arms to you and promised He would not abandon you.
We will always have changes in our lives, things we would rather not have experienced, but it's awesome to know we have a Heavenly Father to talk to and draw comfort from and know that He will not forsake us!

Fighting change is natural, but we need to examine our struggle with changes  to see if we might be resisting the call of God to a change that fills His purpose for our lives.
God's plan may not look like our plan, but His plan  is always the best and fighting the changes would be foolish don't you think?

Put on your full armor of God and face the changes head on my friend.

Be encouraged

All I have seen teaches me to trust God for all I have not seen.  Ralph Waldo Emerson

But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage)
one another every day, as long as it is called Today,
that none of you may be hardened
[into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness
of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the
trickery which the delusive glamour of his
sin may play on him]. 14 For we have become
fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share
in all He has for us, if only we hold our first
newborn confidence and original assured
expectation [in virtue of which we are
believers] firm and unshaken to the end.

FRIEND

A desirable friend tells you the truth in love. "Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful"
(Proverbs 27:6)

A desirable friend gives you sound advice. "Ointment and perfume delight the heart, and the sweetness of a man's friend gives delight by hearty counsel"
(Proverbs 27:9)

A desirable friend refines you. "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend"
(Proverbs 27:17)

A desirable friend helps you grow in wisdom. "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed"
(Proverbs 13:20)

A desirable friend stays close to you. "A man who has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother"
(Proverbs 18:24)

A desirable friend loves you and stands by you. :A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17)

A desirable friend is a help in time of trouble. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up"
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

If you have a friend with these qualities protect your friendship with prayer. If you have friends with less than desirable qualities, you need to pray about those as well.

Alpha and Omega

For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the devine promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develope virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence), 6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety), 7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love. 8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Annointed One).  9 For whoever lacks these qualities is blind, [spiritually] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins.
2 Peter 1: 5-9  Amplified Bible
